Ans.Andur have a fantastic early-to-mid-90’s indie guitar sound recalling Lush, but also very much echoing their Estonian brethren Pia Fraus quite a bit! The vocals occsionally dip into Franklin Bruno territory a la Nothing Painted Blue, and sometimes sound like a few current Japanese shoe gaze bands, but overall they blend smoothly with the wall-of-sound composed of layers of chiming guitars, upbeat guitars, tambourine shakes, and prominent metronome-accurate bass lines. They also throw in the odd horn section here and there to shake things up!
